Interested in making money through sports? Become a baseball or softball umpire! This program trains teens to become paid umpires. Through this six week course students learn the foundations of umpiring along with life skills such as strong communication, financial literacy, handling situations and more. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with Major League umpires prior to a Rangers game. Upon completion, students are connected with local umpire assignors to start work and are given access to equipment along with other goodies.
