Oct 5th : College Fit & Match
Students will navigate My Texas Future, a site connected to Apply Texas. My Texas Future gives students the opportunity to complete a personalized strengths assessment, providing insight into their skill sets and how they align with universities, careers, and industries. From there, all seniors will create an account on Apply Texas and complete one college application.
Oct 19^th : Financial Aid & Scholarships
Seniors and families will have the opportunity to create their FSA IDs to begin the FAFSA process. Students will also receive a presentation on how to navigate the scholarship landscape. All participants will be given access to our organizational newsletter, which includes our scholarship list.
Oct 26: NCAA Eligibility Center/ Student-Athlete Prep Talk
Students will receive an update on NCAA Eligibility Center standards and be provided with an NCAA transcript form to include when sending transcripts to universities. Students will also be educated on the importance of maintaining a strong mindset as a student-athlete.
